That Friday Feeling

Michael has been involved with Dundalk FM 100 from its earliest broadcasting days as a weekend only station known as Dundalk Weekend Radio.

Since then the station has grown and developed into a first class radio station with widespread recognition and Michael says he is very proud to be part of that winning team.

He has quite a large collection of music gathered over the years and delights in the opportunity to play a rich and varied selection of tunes in his two shows.

Michael hosts two shows, That Friday Feeling which goes out at 11am on Friday (obviously), and Talk of the Town which is aired at 10am Saturday (not so obvious).

Both shows are broadcast live as Michael says he revels in the spontaniety of the live scenario.

"I think on my feet all the time" he quips.

His dream is for Dundalk FM 100 to become an integral part of the lives of all residents of Dundalk and its environs.

Every week on the show Michael Duffy plays two tracks (at least) from his choice of the album to be awarded the title of "Album of the Week".

All the new and recent releases are reviewed and the one that stands out most for whatever reason gets the vote for the award.
